Kingwest was formed in 1977 and was a partnership between Steve King and the late John Westlund. It was one of the very first video production, or as it's called, EFP (Electronic Field Production) houses in Australia. As a pioneer in video production, whilst the rest of the industry was still shooting film, Kingwest soon became the foremost authority in EFP.  In the late 70s and early 80s, Kingwest trained and assisted broadcast networks to transition away from film to EFP.

 

Since those early days, Kingwest has undertaken production work in every conceivable genre. From corporate videos to keep staff informed, to multi-screen networked menu panel displays for a leading sandwich brand, from multi-award-winning documentaries and television specials, to hundreds of cinema and television commercials, not to mention the myriad of infomercials and web stories to enhance our clients' web profile and standing.
